Standard 9 Art: Students will describe and analyze how performing and visual artists use and have used materials, inventions, and technologies in their work.
Standard 10 Art: Students will apply their knowledge of the arts to the study of English language arts, foreign languages, health, history and social science, mathematics, and science and technology/engineering.
Engineering Standards
8MS-ETS2-5(MA): Present information that illustrates how a product can be created using basic processes in manufacturing systems.
7.MS-ETS3-5(MA): Use the concept of systems engineering to model inputs, processes, outputs, and feedback among components of a structural system.
English Standards
7 & 8 ELA 10 Range of Writing: Write routinely over time (research, reflection, and revision) for a range of discipline tasks, purposes, and audiences.
Geometry/Math Standards
Geometry: Solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, such as computing actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale.
Geometry: Know that a circle is a two-dimensional shape created by connecting all of the points equidistant from a fixed point called the center of the circle.
Geometry: Understand congruence and similarity using physical models
Social Studies Standards
Social Studies: 7.31: Describe the spread of Greek Culture
Social Studies: 7.43: Describe the contribution of Roman civilization to architecture, engineering, and technology.
